W artykule przedstawiono analizę terytorialnego zróżnicowania zadłużenia ludności w gminach województwa mazowieckiego. Wykorzystano dane biur informacji kredytowej BIK S.A. oraz Infomonitor S.A. dotyczące należności bankowych i rejestru dłużników według stanu z grudnia 2010 r. Wykazano duże różnice regionalne, w tym silne problemy zadłużenia ludności w peryferyjnych gminach północnego Mazowsza, w których nawet co trzecie gospodarstwo domowe ma problemy ze spłacaniem należności bankowych. Badania stanowią uzupełnienie analiz wykonanych w ramach jednego z subpropjektów projektu systemowego „Trendy Rozwojowe Mazowsza”, realizowane dla samorządu województwa mazowieckiego w latach 2010-2011 w Instytucie Geografii i Przestrzennego Zagospodarowania PAN.

The paper presents an analysis of the territorial differentiation of the population economic debt in communes in Mazowieckie voivodship. In analyses used data of credit reference agencies (BIK SA and Infomonitor SA) on the bank accounts receivable and the register of debtors as of the December 2010. In the article demonstrated significant differences in the region, including a strong public debt problems in the peripheral municipalities of northern Mazovia, where even every third household has problems with repaying bank debts. Elaboration was based on analyzes carried out as part of one of the sub-project of the system project "Development Trends of Mazovia, performed for the Mazowieckie voivodship self-government in 2010–2011 at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization, Polish Academy of Sciences.
