W artykule przedstawiono jeden z problemów cyfrowej analizy topografii powierzchni, a mianowicie usuwanie falistości ze struktury geometrycznej powierzchni. Badane elementy to cylindry silników spalinowych. Analizy dokonano take pod względem parametrów stereometrii powierzchni zawartych w normie ISO-25178. Zwrócono take uwagę na istotę edukacji technicznej w nauczaniu techniki z dyscypliny metrologii powierzchni

One of the main aid of digital analysis of surface properties is the removal of waviness from the results of surface topography measurements. The cylinder liners from car engine were analysed. Parameters from ISO-25178 were described. The technical education for metrology field was also taken into consideration.
