Celem niniejszego artykułu było przedstawienie wyników badań prowadzonych przez autorkę dotyczących ryzyka związanego z wierzytelnościami w transakcjach faktoringu wierzytelnościowego. Najważniejszym czynnikiem wpływającym na ryzyko związane z wierzytelnościami w transakcji faktoringu wierzytelnościowego okazały się powiązania personalne i kapitałowe pomiędzy faktorantem i dłużnikami faktoringowymi, na drugim miejscu znalazła się jakość dotychczasowej współpracy pomiędzy faktorantem i dłużnikami faktoringowymi, na trzecim okres dotychczasowej współpracy między faktorantem i dłużnikami faktoringowymi, na czwartym okres płatności wierzytelności, na piątym kwota poszczególnych wierzytelności, na szóstym – liczba wierzytelności, a na ostatnim miejscu waluta wierzytelności.

The article presents the results of the research conducted by the author on the risks associated with the receivables in debt factoring transactions. Personal and capital relations between the factoring agent and debtors proved to be the most important factors influencing the risk associated with receivables in debt factoring transaction. The quality of the existing cooperation between the factoring agent and the debtor was in the second place. The period of the existing cooperation between factoring agent and debtor was the third. The fourth was the period of making the payments, while the amount of individual receivables was the fifth. The number of receivables was the sixth, and finally, the currency of debt was in the last place.
