Przedmiotem opracowania jest zbadanie przyczyn wymuszonej i dobrowolnej emigracji mieszkańców Afryki do Europy oraz analiza koncepcji pomocy rozwojowej dla krajów afrykańskich i jej znaczenia dla powstrzymania nasilającej się fali emigracji afrykańskiej. W artykule autorzy opisują eksplozję demograficzną w Afryce i inne przyczyny emigracji Afrykańczyków do krajów europejskich, przedstawiają perspektywy rozwoju gospodarczego Afryki oraz omawiają kontrowersje wokół pomocy rozwojowej dla Afryki.

The subject of this study is to investigate the causes of forced and voluntary emigration of Africans to Europe, and to analyze the concept of developmental assistance for African countries and its importance to stop the growing wave of African emigration. In the paper, the authors describe the demographic explosion in Africa and other reasons for the emigration of Africans to European countries, present the prospects for economic development in Africa, and discuss the controversy surrounding developmental assistance to Africa.
