Tekst jest komentarzem do obrazu zamieszczonego na okładce, ilustracji przedstawiającej typ ikony Matki Bożej Nieustającej Pomocy. Autorka tekstu opisuje krótko historię tego typu wizerunku oraz dokonuje jego analizy formalnej, zgodnie z zasadami deskrypcji obrazów stosowanymi w historii sztuki.

The author of the text briefly describes the history of this type of icon and carries out a formal analysis, according to the principles of iconography applied in art history.
