This paper presents research on the current status of old varieties of apple trees and other fruit trees in the Przemyskie Foothills. The research was undertaken by Fundacja Dziedzictwo Przyrodnicze (Nature Heritage Foundation) in Leszczawa Dolna as part of the project: “Returning to the roots – promoting traditional arboriculture and horticulture in the valuable natural areas of the Przemyskie Foothills”. In 2013 – 2014 a survey was carried out in 12 parishes in which owners of old orchards were asked to fill out questionnaires. After the information from the questionnaires was discussed with people involved in this project, a report was prepared on the survival status of old apple tree varieties in the Przemyskie Foothills. Amongst the most interesting varieties are: Baby, Choinkowe, Gwardiany, Jakobówki, Kapuśniaczki, Kompościaki, Korobówki, Krasiaki, Krecenki, Kręgi, Kogutki, Kwasówki, Poziomkowa, Leśnica, Ludwiki, Olbrzymie, Orzechówki, Ozimaki, Pisaki, Pisarety, Pomarańczówki, Poziomkowa, Redery, Rybsony, Siwaki, Szary Renecik, Szotasz, Śliwczaki, Śliczaki, Typliki, Weissy, Wery, Werthy and Zajęczbówka.
