Premier Brandenburgii Manfred Stolpe niewątpliwie przyczynił się do rozwoju i utrwalenia stosunków społeczno-politycznych Polski i Niemiec. Należy docenić jego aktywność także w obszarze rozwoju współpracy między regionami po obu stronach granicy. Cieniem na jego życiorysie kładą się podejrzenia o współpracę ze Stasi. W artykule staramy się wyjaśnić te wątpliwości. Prime Minister of Brandenburg Manfred Stolpe undoubtedly contributed to the development and consolidation of socio-political relations between Poland and Germany. It should also be appreciated its activity in the area of the development of cooperation between the regions on both sides of the border. Unexplained to this day are suspicions of collaboration with the Stasi. In this paper we try to clarify these doubts.

The Prime Minister of Brandenburg, Manfred Stolpe, undoubtedly contributed to the development and consolidation of socio-political relations between Poland and Germany. His activity in the area of the development of cooperation between the regions on both sides of the border needs to be appreciated, too. However, he was suspected of collaborating with Stasi, which puts him in a bad light. This paper tries to clarify these doubts.
