Artykuł omawia wybrane normatywne modele przywództwa w administracji w kontekście nowych doktryn zarządzania w sferze publicznej: New Public Ad-ministration, New Public Management i New Public Service. Zaproponowana została wielowymiarowa definicja przywództwa, która uwzględnia funkcjonal-ny, relacyjny i atrybucyjny poziom analizy. W ostatniej części artykułu prezen-towane są wybrane elementy preskryptywnego profilu kompetencji przywód-czych: umiejętność budowaniasieci współpracy, orientacja na zmiany i umie-jętność ich wprowadzania, orientacja na etyczne wartości związane ze służbą publiczną oraz inteligencja kontekstualna.

The article addresses the issue of normative patterns of leadership in public administration in the context of the doctrines of public management: New Public Administration, New Public Management, and New Public Service. The multidimensional model of leadership is proposed which takes into account all the different aspects of leadership: functional, relational and attributional. In the last part of the article, the chosen elements of the prescriptive profile of leadership competences are displayed: ability to develop cooperation net-works, change-centric approach and capacity to change management, main-taining high ethical standards of public service and contextual intelligence.
