The title of the text refers to a painting by Paul Klee from 1929. It reflects the way Josef Linschinger worked and the character of his works, which are characterized, on the one hand, by great consistency and, on the other hand, by diversity. The artist constantly experiments, does not focus on any particular techniques or themes, but never loses the main sense of the work. Heidi Bierswisch's text is an attempt to discuss this interesting and rich artwork by Josef Linschinger.
