Artykuł powstał na bazie tablic przepływów międzygałęziowych (55x55) 26 państw należących do Unii Europejskiej, opublikowanych przez Eurostat. Autor skoncentrował się na kolumnie i wierszu real estate, analizując te usługi w krańcowych, dostępnych do badań latach 1995-2007. Osobno analizowano dane 16 państw „starej” Unii i osobno 10 państw „nowej” Unii. Zaprezentowano udział wartości usług w zakresie nieruchomości w produkcji globalnej, wynoszący w badanych latach 5,6% i 5,7%, oraz strukturę produkcji globalnej i jej dynamiki w ciągu 12 lat. Za pomocą wskaźników kosztów obsługi na 1 mieszkańca i na 1 mieszkanie w poszczególnych państwach, stwierdzono różny poziom obsługi nieruchomości w „starych” i „nowych” krajach Unii. Zsumowano także udział tych usług w produkcji globalnej z udziałem budownictwa, tj. 5,7% + 6,6% = 12,3%. Wskaźnik ten świadczy o istotnej roli obu działów w gospodarce krajów Unii Europejskiej.

This paper was written on the basis of the inter-sectoral flow tables (55 x 55) applicable to 26 countries belonging to the European Union, published by Eurostat. The author concentrated himself on the Real Estate column and row, analysing those services in the marginal years available for research, 1995-2007. He separately analysed the data of 16 “old” EU and 10 “new” EU countries. The real-estate service value shares in the global production output were presented as5.6% and 5.7% in the said marginal years, respectively, supplemented by the global production structure and its rates in those twelve years. Using service costs per inhabitant and per flat indicators in particular countries, the author found various levels of real-estate services in the “old” and “new” EU countries. The shares of those services in the global production output were summed up with the building industry share, i.e. 5.7% + 6.6% = 12.3%. This indicator demonstrates an essential role of both sectors in the EU economies.
