The authors of the paper attempt to prove the thesis that in the decision making in conditions of uncertainty the application of Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method minimizes the risk of economic failure. The CBR method is presented as a basis for creation of an information system enabling knowledge and personnel's experience management, supporting decision making in uncertainty conditions. The authors take into account a possibility of the CBR method application in debt collection enterprises.
