The aim of the article is to present advanced planning and scheduling systems as a complement to the functionality of MRPII/ERP systems. The article shows the constrains of CRP (Capacity Requirements Planning) module of MRPII/ERP system and the possibility to complement this functionality by advanced planning and scheduling systems. The final part of the article is an example of the implementation of this system.
