The aim of this paper is to present entrepreneurs' expectations towards the support offered their businesses by local municipalities. The research was carried out in the Warminsko-Mazurski and Mazowiecki regions. In case of each analyzed instrument of support, the outcome of research shows a gap between entrepreneurs' expectations and real assistance offered by local administration.
