In management theory and among scholars of other fields corporate ethics often stirs up controversies. However, in the time of globalization corporate ethics gains special significance. It brings corporation closer to the society, links corporate targets with public interest, enables peaceful solution of conflicts occurring due to enterprise activity. In some cases legal gaps make it difficult to deal with conflicts. Then corporations having ethical codes undertake public initiatives aiming at improvement of legal regulations
