The CAP (Common Agriculture Policy) reform goes towards the limitation of traditional forms of support for agriculture, and aims at the fulfillment of new social expectation, by respecting new functions of agriculture such like: caring for natural environment, maintenance of the landscape or culture of rural areas. This conception of sustainable development of agriculture will be implemented in Poland together with a strong pressure to increase farms competitiveness and catching up the distance to the best agricultural EU countries. Implementing the development strategy of modern agriculture which is efficient in technical and economic aspects, but simultaneously friendly for people and environment will result in many important changes in the picture of Polish agriculture in the next 25 years. Taking into account, that we are a big agricultural country, it is necessary to discuss about new form of agriculture, both in macro scale, beginning from the rural and agricultural policy and in micro scale, on conditions of progress and development of individual farms
