The aim of this paper is to discuss different theories of vocational consuelling concerning the career path planning. The autor characterizes conceptions of vocational development: tracits and factory, psychodynamic theories, developmental theories, cognitive-social theories. Then she diskusses the process of career path planning in four phases, paying special attention to changes in contemporary vocational life that make the process coutinning and multidimensional.
