W artykule podjęto problematykę oceny wyposażenia ludności w urządzenia technologii informacyjnej. Analizą objęto Czechy, Polskę, Słowację, Węgry, Litwę, Łotwę i Estonię w latach 1990-1998. Podstawą badań były dane Banku Światowego.

The paper is devoted to the problem of an access to some communication. The research concerned the situation in seven selected Central European Countries: Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in years 1990-1998. The base for an empirical analysis constituted data of secondary character published by World Bank. (original abstract)
