Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie możliwości zastosowania metod gradacyjnej analizy korespondencji i korzystającej z niej analizy skupień do generowania typologii polskich gospodarstw domowych ze względu na strukturę ich wydatków. Metody te zastosowano do analizy danych GUS, opisujących budżety gospodarstw domowych.

The objective of this article is to show usefulness of the methods of grade data analysis (and, precisely, the grade correspondence analysis, and the cluster analysis based on it) for the purpose of generating a Typology of Polish households in respect of the pattern of their expenditure. Visualisation of the data tables in the form of the so-called maps of overrepresentation was used as an auxiliary tool. The result of use of these methods is not only separation of the types of households but, first of all, identification of a certain monotonie trend which could be described as a relationship towards investment in a broad sense of the term. This trend is determined by arrangement of the category of expenditure, and which itself, in turn, determines arrangement of the households (thus, also the classes of typology).(original abstract)
