The article presents results of analysis providing with information that in the period of 1994-2001 own-account working households characterised the highest financial liquidity with exception of necessary expenditures. The lowest, medium and increasing results of liquidity indicator with exception of necessary expenditures characterised households of workers in agricultural households and households of retirees and pensioners. In all households and all social and economic groups of households observed a decrease of share of necessary expenditures in total expenditures per capita in 2001 in comparison with data of J 994. It is possible to ascertain that generally the lowest level of living characterised households linked with agriculture and households of retirees and pensioners, the highest level of living characterised own-account working households.
