Analiza kointegracji pozwala ustalić i kwantyfikować długookresowe relacje pomiędzy zmiennymi będącymi w związkach przyczynowo-skutkowych, w sytuacji gdy zmienne takie charakteryzują się niestacjonarnością. Wyjściowym elementem analizy kointegracyjnej jest określenie stopnia integracji zmiennych znajdujących się w domniemanych związkach długookresowych, gdyż niespełnienie odpowiednich warunków zgodności pomiędzy stopniem zintegrowania zmiennej objaśnianej a zmiennymi objaśniającymi prowadzić może do wystąpienia tzw. regresji pozornych. Artykuł zawiera wyniki badania dla 100 zmiennych, zaczerpniętych z baz danych modeli serii W8. Zmienne, będące przedmiotem analizy reprezentują pełny przekrój rodzajowy dostępnych danych makroekonomicznych: strumienie, zasoby, udziały, zmienne w cenach stałych, w cenach bieżących, deflatory, wielkości potencjalne itp. Analiza przeprowadzona została przy użyciu trzech testów: rozszerzonego testu Dickey-Fullera, testu Philipsa-Perrona oraz testu Kwiatkowskiego-Philipsa-Schmidta-Shina.

Analysis of co-integration gives a possibility to settle and quantify long-term relations between variables lasting in causality and consecutive connection, in the situation, when these kinds of variables are not a stationary. Initial element of co-integration analysis is to settle a level of integration of variables lasting in supposed long-term connections, because not meeting suitable conditions of conformability between level of described variable integration and describing variables can lead to occurring apparent regressions. The article covers results of survey of integration level for 100 variables, taken from data base of W8 series models. Changes being the subject of analysis represent full type's range of available macroeconomic data: flows, resources, shares, variables in constant prices, in current prices, deflators, potential values, etc. Analysis was conducted with support of three tests: enlarged test of Dickey-Fuller, Philips-Perron's test and KPSS test. In the article, apart from presentation of total results analysis, presented some observations and suggestions which can be useful during empiric applications of integration/co-integration analysis.
