Artykuł dotyczy testu do porównywania frakcji wybranych obiektów w dwóch populacjach. W opracowaniu rozpatrzono dwie wersje testu oznaczone A i B. Zbadano zgodność statystyki testowej z rozkładem normalnym metodą Monte-Carlo. The paper concerns a test use to compare fractions in two populations. It is said in the textbooks that a test statistics follows the normal N(0,1) distribution. Two versions of the test statistics, labelled A and B, are considered. The paper examines consistence of the test statistics with the normal distribution Monte-Carlo method. As a result of this survey, essential deviation from normality when samples are not of equal size was revealed. It causes critical intervals to be asymmetrical with respect to the centre of coordinates system. For this reason the significance level can be even two times greater than expected. The author of this paper puts forward computer—aided method for determining critical intervals of the test statistics ensuring desirable level of test significance and power curve tracing of the test statistics.
