Artykuł poświęcony jest osiągnięciom życiowym Leonida Hurwicza - jednego z trzech laureatów Nagrody Nobla w dziedzinie ekonomii z 2007 roku. Stworzyli oni podstawy teorii projektowania mechanizmów ekonomicznych.

The article is dedicated to achievements of Leonid Hurwicz who is one of the three Nobel laureate in 2007 (besides Eryk S. and Roger B. Myerson) in economics. They created the base for theory of economy mechanism planning which has indisputable importance in economic and political sciences. (original abstract)
