In this article an attempt was made to verify for Poland so-called Kuznets hypothesis being basis of macroeconomic pays and incomes differentiation theories. The authorial literature review within the discussed issue indicates such surveys were not yet conducted for Poland. Presented verification results were preceded by the brief literature review including results of the prior empirical surveys. The Kuznets hypothesis was verified using alternative econometric models, mostly used in quantitative analyses of the Kuznets curve. Statistically verified results have not confirmed the simple hypothesis. But they indicated existence of the extended Kuznets curve for Poland. The achieved results seem to determine decreasing economic inequalities in Poland, in a long period.(original abstract)
