Opracowanie stanowi syntetyczne omówienie wyników międzynarodowego badania o nazwie Continuing Vocational Training Survey 2 (CVTS2) realizowanego w latach 1999-2000 przez wszystkie kraje członkowskie Unii Europejskiej i kraje do niej kandydujące. Przemiotem badania było ustawiczne szkolenie zawodowe pracowników przedsiębiorstw. Przedstawiono wyniki badania CVTS2 przeprowadzonego na 6540 przedsiębiorstwach z woj. Pomorskiego.

This elaboration presents the essential results of international survey titled Continuing Vocational Training Survey 2 (CVTS 2) which were conducted by all European Union Member States and Candidate Countries including Poland. The Eurostat Statistical Office of the European Communities) was responsible for preparation and realisation of the survey. Poland has conducted the mentioned-above survey as a pilot survey, restricting territorial scope of the survey to the Pomorskie voivodship. Presented results characterise engagement of enterprises in continuing vocational training for full-time paid employees. The results present forms of training, the problems, access of employees to training courses, time and costs of training courses. The results received for Poland were interpreted against the background of other Candidate Countries and European Union Member States. (original abstract)
