Artykuł zawiera dane, które dotyczą niektórych aspektów korzystania przez firmy z komputerów w latach 2005-2008. Sondaż przeprowadzono drogą internetową. Informacje o firmach, które poddano badaniu, zaczerpnięto z bazy danych Firmy polskie 2005. Zbadano firmy z całego obszaru Polski. Otrzymano ponad 1650 ankiet. Respondentów zapytano m.in. o korzystanie z różnych funkcji oferowanych przez komputery, dostęp do nich pracowników, skutki wprowadzenia komputerów do firmy oraz plany zakupu komputerów.

This publication presents statistical data relating to certain aspects of the use of computers by companies in 2008, obtained on the basis of a survey of business Internet users in Poland. Respondents were asked to use the various functions offered by the computers, access to computers of employees, the effects of computer implementation in the company, and plans to purchase computers in the future. It has been found among others that most companies use computers for clerical with and as a tool to use the Internet (over 96% of companies) and almost 3/4 of respondents said that computers have become essential to the enterprise. In the period 2005-2008 a minimal increase of indices concerning computer use, access to computers as well as a perception of their role and the intend to purchase computers in the future was observed in entities.(original abstract)
