Abstracts

Podstawowym problemem badawczym postawionym w artykule jest określenie, jakie czynniki wpływają na wysokość wydatków gospodarstw domowych na produkty związane z wypoczynkiem. Zgodnie z teorią ekonomii na wydatki danego podmiotu wpływają przede wszystkim dochód oraz ceny2. Różne wzorce zachowań konsumentów zależą m.in. od fazy cyklu życia danego gospodarstwa domowego związanego z liczbą członków, wiekiem i wykształceniem rodziny, liczbą dzieci czy ze statusem cywilnym. W badaniach empirycznych wskazuje się dodatkowo inne determinanty wydatków, np.: typ gospodarstwa domowego, miejsce zamieszkania czy inne czynniki socjoekonomiczne. W badaniu oszacujemy wpływ wymienionych zmiennych na poziom wydatków gospodarstw domowych. Dane zaczerpnięto z badania budżetów gospodarstw domowych GUS z 2008 r. (fragment tekstu)

The question, which factors determine household expenditures for rest services (touristics, sports) is discussed in the article. The classical linear regression as well as the Tobin Model (the right estimation way in case of censored samples according to the econometry theory) are used in the survey. Results of both named methods are in line with economic intuition. The result comparison indicates their good resistance due to the used estimation method but the Tobin model needs more explanatory variables. (original abstract)
