The veteran of the leftists resistance movement in the Lódz ghetto provides information about the organization of the movement, its leaders and the forms of its activity. The main motif of his account is the attempt to answer the question why the underground organizations existing in the Lódz ghetto were not capable of staging any spectacular act of resistance against the German occupying powers.
