This short notice calls attention to the so-far unnoticed edition of Tertullian's 'De patientia' which was published in Prague in 1676, being the only edition of this author that has originated in the Czech lands. Except for the described copy, only two other copies of this edition are known: in Österreichische Nationalbibliothek in Vienna (sign. 71.Aa.120) and in the capitular library in Prague - Vysehrad (sign. II.B.j.67). In addition, the collation of this edition is given with respect to the last critical edition of 'De patientia' by J.-Cl. Fredouille (Paris 1999).
