Contemporary upbringing has many determinants and conditions and it appears in various contexts. As particularly significant ones we can number upbringing in the context of individual life, upbringing in the context of social life, cultural context of upbringing, social context of upbringing and developmental context of upbringing. Their determinants are pedagogical aporie, cultural ambivalence, decentration, and identity as well as others. Altogether they form a specific background for contemporary upbringing.
