Enterprises conclude alliances not only in order to increase their market share, but also to improve or adopt new technologies, skills or knowledge from a partner. For example, The Aviation Institute in Warsaw due to the co-operation with Pratt&Whitney has gained new unique research capacities, while Polish engineers have been trained by experts from the USA. Thanks to this collaboration, the Institute is able to conduct more advanced research, also for its American partner.
