The article offers criticism of the liberal Chicago school of economics. The author presents the views of particular originators of this school and wonders how consequent these economists are in praising free market and how they are willing to reduce state interventionism. The fundamental message of the article is the indication that the views of the Chicago school stray away from the traditional 19th century liberalism. Paradoxically, it is a doctrine considerably accepting and even propagating state intervention.
