Milan Begovic 'Bez tretieho' (Without the third) and his two Slovak Translations. Repeated, or serial translation and the reasons for its origination are discussed. Milan Begovic, his place in Croatian literature and reception of his work in Slovakia. Dramatic writings of Milan Begovic in Slovak translations and staged dramatic writings of the mentioned author in Slovak theatres. Development of serial translation after forty years. Time period and its influence on shift in translation. Some changes and development of the translation methods. Andrej Vrbacky and Jan Jankovic - translators of drama Bez tretieho (1945, 1985).
