The article discusses co-operation ties between the clothing and textile industries. The economic practice reveals a number of specific obstacles and barrles in co-operation. Consequently, effectiveness of these ties is insufficient, which reflects on the economic performance of companies producing the final product and in the final account does not meet requirements of end-users obtaining a product not corresponding to originally fixed quality and price. The author defines and verifies barriers hampering successful development of co-operation between the clothing and textile Industries, and formulates propositions aiming at removal of these barriers.
