Assuming that linguistic phenomena common in the educated speech (speech of the intelligentsia) cannot be treated as mistakes, the author has given a critical survey of selected phenomena in phonetics, inflection, word-formation, and syntax, which in normative publications are treated as mistakes, although being quite common in the educated speech.
