In the paper we present the statistical methods for evaluation of the teaching process. We use several, well known preference aggregation methods in particular Dodgson ranking) and cluster analysis. Our researches based on subjective rankings which had been published in the major all- Polish newspapers. The main aim of this work was to create the common ranking of Polish universities.
