It is possible to notice competition beween banks on bank services market. Nowadays the most often used agent which strengthens competitive position of banks is the technology. Thans to technological progress banks can considerably make their offer wider but also improve and advance clients service. Electronical paing cards are one of the effects of using modern technology by banks. They progress especially in European Union and South-Eastern Asia. In Poland magnetics cards still dominate, however, also law regulations give the opportunity to emiting cards not only to banks but also to different financial enterprices. In connection to this even more intensive competitive fight for clients between banks as well as between electronical money institutions is possible.
