ASP - Application Service Provision is a new way to testify information services which come into being thanks to technology development (including the Internet technologies). ASP enables efficiency improvement of information technologies in companies. ASP market creates new chances for three groups: customers, service providers and ASP suppliers. The article shows the idea of ASP model its'features, present state and development trends.

ASP - Application Service Provision to nowy sposób świadczenia usług informatycznych, który powstał dzięki rozwojowi technologii, w tym internetowych, i umożliwia poprawę efektywności technologii informatycznych w przedsiębiorstwach. Rynek ASP stwarza nowe szanse dla trzech grup: odbiorców usług, usługodawców i dostawców technologii-aplikacji. W artykule przedstawiono ideę modelu ASP, jego cechy, stan obecny oraz tendencje rozwoju.
