Implementation of the initiative Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas allows for the modernization processes of regeneration funding mechanisms through the use of financial engineering instruments. Allow the use of leverage and the possibility of repeated use of the same funds as well as public-private partnership promotes and supports projects with a rate of return makes it impossible to get funding in the grants system. The use of the initiative also leads to a rational and efficient use of resources by the beneficiaries because of the need to return the funds received.
