The subject of a present article are God and devil words in the exclamation phraseology. There are many phrases with named components. They are used to express feelings, emotions and will. The Russian exclamation phrases have more or less adequate equivalents in Polish language. The phraseology with main “devilish” components characterizes more emotional tinge in comparison with phrases containing God component. Exclamation phraseology with devil as a main word express mainly negative emotions. Exclamation phraseology expressing (but not defining) feelings and will is known for all the people using given language, because named phrases have their meaning following from the context.
