This work deals with interpretation of the evolution in use of planning and market mechanism in development of economic integration of the CMEA member countries. The author attempts to determine relationships between coordination o f national plans carried out within this grouping and international planning, as well as the place held by the agreed plan of multilateral integration undertakings and long-term cooperation programmes in the CMEAs integration.
