In this article the author provides analysis of the regional policy in Poland that influences the functioning of the small and medium-sized enterprises sector. In particular, he focuses on policy instruments that support and stimulate investment and as a result contribute to the development of the above mentioned sector. The whole analysis is performed in the context of European integration.
