The article is an attempt to present place and importance of marketing in new cooperative connections such as a chain of delivery. The authors have surveyed the literature connected with this range of marketing and they hypothesise that marketing is an important element in initiating and functioning of the chain of delivery. Marketing as a philosophy of action and a marketing orientation should be the philosophy of action of all partners of the delivery chain which will contribute with profit to the costumer's needs.
