Supply chain performance is a rapidly developing area of research. Many companies try to find tools able to measure chain performance in response to turbulent business markets and in order to efficiently control their own business activities. The purpose of this paper is to analyze various buyer-and-supplier relationships and demonstrate their impact on the efficiency of a supply chain. Article also describes the development of the channel partnership between the manufacturer (KOMANDOR) and the group of suppliers of the firm, which helped both the parts involved combine their enterprise business operations with a view to achieving a shared vision of market opportunity.
