Celem pracy jest analiza determinant wyboru docelowej formy aktywności zawodowej przez jednostki (studentów), ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem skłonności do założenia własnej firmy. Praca ma charakter teoretyczno-empiryczny. W części teoretycznej omówiono problematykę wyboru docelowej formy aktywności zawodowej w kontekście analiz determinant aktywności przedsiębiorczej. W części empirycznej zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad determinantami wyboru docelowej formy aktywności zawodowej. Głównym źródłem danych empirycznych był materiał z badań przedsiębiorczości studentów studiów stacjonarnych SES Student’s Entrepreneurship Survey), realizowanych począwszy od 2003 roku na Uniwersytecie Szczecińskim.

The aim of the paper was to conduct an analysis of determinants of target form of professional activity undertaken by individuals (students), with particular attention to the tendency for setting up business companies. The study is a theoretical and empirical one. Issues concerning the choice of target form of professional activity in the context of determinants of enterprising activity are discussed in the theoretical part of the paper. The results of research on determinants behind the selection of target form of professional activity can be found in the empirical part of the paper. The results of research on entrepreneurship collected by SES students of full-time studies at the University in Szczecin since 2003 are the main source of the empirical data.
