W pracy opisano ideę podejścia statystycznego w metodzie DEA na przykładzie jednoproduktowego m odelu Bankera. Przedstawiono jego założenia i wynikające z nich własności estymatora DEA wartości funkcji produkcji w punkcie. Opisano wybrane problemy, które mogą być przedmiotem wnioskowania statystycznego na gruncie tego modelu. Zaproponowano także sposoby ich testowania, ilustrując całość rozważań przykładem empirycznym opartym na danych rzeczywistych. Podano również ograniczenia związane z przyjętym i założeniam i modelowym i, wybraną metodą estymacji i sposobam i testowania. Na koniec opisano znaczenie jednoproduktowego modelu Bankera dla rozwoju metodologii w tym zakresie.
In this paper idea statistical approach in DEA method on the example of the single-product Banker's model is described. Its assumptions and following from them properties of the DEA estimator of point value production frontier is presented. Selected problems are described, which can be object of statistical inference on the base of this model. Methods of the testing are proposed and the whole of considerations is illustrated by empirical example based on real data. Limitations connected with accepted model's assumptions, selected estimation's and testing's methods are given. Finally, importance of the model for development of the corresponding methodology is described.
