In the article, the issue of the Biblical bases of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was concerned. The text was based on Polish theological literature published until 1965. When analysing the Bible one can notice that it does not mention directly the fact of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Neverthe-less, the discussed theologians deal with this matter by referring to Tradition.
