Artykuł ukazuje miejsce i rolę zapobiegania stratom w przeciwdziałaniu ryzyku w łańcuchach dostaw sektora dóbr szybko rotujących. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przybliżenie tematyki strat, ich wielkości oraz przyczyn powstawania. Opracowanie pokazuje funkcjonalne „podejście” do problematyki zapobiegania stratom jako elementu redukcji ryzyka wynikającego z rodzajów strat oraz struktury przedsiębiorstwa.

This article shows the role of the loss prevention in the FMCG supply chain risk management. The aim of this article is to pinpoint the shrinkage problem, especially, their size and the functional approach to the loss prevention activities as the kind of supply chain risk reduction. This way of shrink reduction is connected with the kind of losses and the business structure.
