In this article the author characterizes the socio-political conditions of the crisis in Ukraine at the turn of 2013 and 2014. The text characterized the evolution of the political system of Ukraine in the years 2010–2013, as well as the role of Ukrainian society in the process of political change in the country. The author also presents an assessment of post-revolutionary situation in Ukraine in the political, social and economic spheres.
