In 2019, an exhumed grave was found in the Grudziądz- Rządz (Rondsen) cemetery in the Grudziądz district of the Oxywian and Wielbark cultures (mid 2nd century BC – 2nd century AD), where coins were hidden in the modern period (in the 1st half of the 17th century). The Rondsen burial ground is located on the northern slope of an extensive hill sloping gently in a northwesterly direction towards Rządz Lake and the Rudnianka watercourse, about 300 meters away. The necropolis was recognized in 1884–1889 by S. Anger and C. Florkowski, members of the Society of Antiquities in Grudziadz (Altertumsgesellschaft). The object was exposed in the southwestern part of the cemetery. The grave was disturbed by a modern excavation (identified in the field as 17A), inside which a plate and coins were found. The hiding place was marked with a wooden pole. Part of the deposit, was „ looted”, and four coins and a damaged ceramic plate were left. The second part of the article contains an inventory of the objects found.
