The main purpose of this article is presentation of the reforms which were conducted in Greece according to adjustment its economy to EU convergence dimension. It is necessary to emphasis the fact that this process was succeed, Greece became a member of EMU on 1st January 2001. This process for years was treated as the best example and model for other candidates states. Today it is very questionable if the official European and Greek information were truth.
